Founders Story

Hello, and welcome to BRÍ.

This photo shows us on a good day.

We want to be honest with you about that. Not because we owe you our worst moments, but because the wellness industry has enough people showing you their best ones and calling it a brand. We are not doing that here.

We are Glenn and Taylor. We met at the University of Limerick over ten years ago, both studying marketing. Taylor had moved from Colorado to Ireland and found something in this wild Atlantic coast that felt more like home than anywhere she had lived before.

Glenn grew up in Clare, knew these landscapes the way you know a place that shaped you, and had spent years in the relentless pace of international sales wondering quietly when the cost of it would come due.

We got married. We built careers. We were good at what we did.
And somewhere inside all of that, inside the targets hit and the campaigns delivered and the always on culture that neither of us ever thought to question, something accumulated. Not a breakdown. Not a dramatic moment. More like a slow withdrawal from an account we did not know had a limit.

We both arrived at the same place by different roads.

Exhausted in a way that sleep was not fixing. Anxious in a way that felt like the baseline had shifted permanently. Functioning completely on the outside. Running on something that was not quite fuel anymore.

We did not want to be transformed. We did not want a new version of ourselves or a five step morning routine or a programme that required us to become different people. We wanted to come back. To the clarity and the steadiness and the version of ourselves that we knew was still there, somewhere underneath everything the hard years had asked of us.

So we built BRÍ. Not as an answer. As a companion for the search.

Because that is what we have learned, slowly and not always gracefully, is that the hard year does not arrive for one part of you. It comes for all of you. The mind that will not quieten. The focus that has gone just out of reach. The sleep that stops restoring. The body that starts presenting its invoice for everything you asked of it without adequate return. These do not arrive in sequence. They arrive together, in different proportions, on different days, sometimes in the same hour.

BRÍ is a conversation we could not find happening anywhere else. About what it actually costs to perform well in a demanding world over a long period of time. About the difference between sleep and restoration, between quiet and calm, between keeping going and genuinely recovering. About the people who are good at their lives and quietly running low inside them. About the fact that needing support is not a weakness in your character. It is arithmetic. The body and mind are precise. They give what is asked and eventually they ask in return.

We wanted to open that conversation without the language that usually surrounds it. Without the toxic positivity and the transformation promises and the carefully curated version of struggle that resolves itself by the third paragraph. We wanted to talk about the hard year as it actually is. Nonlinear. Unglamorous. Real.

We live here in Clare, where the Burren meets the Atlantic and the landscape has been witnessing human endurance for five thousand years. Where Poll na Brón, a Neolithic portal tomb older than Stonehenge, sits in a field a few miles from where we work. Built by people who understood that you prepare in dark seasons for what the light will ask of you.

That understanding is in the ground here. It is in the way people in this part of Ireland show up for each other without making a performance of it. In the neighbours who check in. The friends who arrive without being asked. The community that knows real support happens in small daily acts and not grand gestures.

BRÍ was built from that. Quietly. Honestly. For people who are carrying more than they show and would rather have something true than something impressive.

We are not here because we completed the journey. We are here because we are still on it, and we made something useful for everyone who is too.

You know this place. You don't have to stay.

Mind yourself.
Glenn and Taylor

Our Mission

BRÍ is not a destination.

It is company for the road. Made by two people who are still on it, for everyone who is too. No transformation promised. No perfection required. Just something honest, made with care, for the version of life that is actually happening.

We are not ahead of you on this journey. We are beside you on it.

An Toraíocht. The Search. Walk it with us.

Less Stress. Happy Days.
